Great hostel in the center of Keelung. Staff was very kind and helpful and the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. The hostel did a good job curating a communal and social atmosphere. Neighborhood has lots of shopping and dining options. Easy access to buses and trains.

Property owners were absolutely amazing, professional, knowledgeable and approachable. The place was clean and light with Scandinavian style design. They have multiple configuration rooms available, some equipped with window and the attached bathroom. It’s normally booked out a week to two weeks in advance. On Saturday it’s often booked out three weeks ahead. I will definitely return again when I’m in the area.

Perhaps this is unfair but I didn't particularly enjoy my stay. Staff were friendly enough but it didn't seem like a particularly social hostel and there were some inconveniences that weren't great. It was kind of a pain to find and hidden upstairs on the 6th or 7th of a pretty dingy building. The inside was clean and well maintained if a bit plain. Lots of bible quotes all over the place, which I mean do with that what you will, personally felt a bit jarring. There were also rules on basically every wall, more than I've encountered at any other hostel. My private room also didn't have a private bathroom so I had to walk a bit to go to the toilet, not the end of the world but again keep in mind. The city itself wasn't particularly impressive, if you're planning on staying here before or after going to Jiufen, I'd say don't. The property seems catered to Taiwanese more than foreigners, again not a problem, just worth keeping in mind. Not the worst stay, not the best.

It was really central and the lobby was really good, also to wash your clothes for free was great, but unfortunately our room was close to the lobby, which is why it was pretty noisy in the evening, but we had a great view on the city!

Our stay at the light inn was incredible. The facilities are nice, spacious and so clean! Everyone there was so incredibly lovely and friendly to us. We cannot express how sweet the owner and wokers were, the kindest people we have met! We cannot recomend them more!

Best innkeeper service ever

Everything was spectacular. Finding the place was a little bit difficult it is on the 6th floor of the building so you have to find the elevators. The service from the innkeeper was the best I've ever had. Ray made me feel like family.

フロント横の部屋に止まりました 広くはないですが、窓も大きく多少外の音や廊下の音は聞こえますが、耳栓をしていたので、ほぼ問題なかったです シャワートイレは共同ですが、清潔に保たれていて、問題なく使えました 基隆夜市も近く、交通の便もとても良く快適に過ごせました
