It's around a lot of residential and office buildings. About 10 minutes walk to MRT and you can check in your luggage at that MRT if you are travelling with China or Eva Airline. Easy access to Taipei! Great pool. There is not a lot of dinning or shopping options. The conditions of our rooms were excellent.

The hotel staff just left the glass in the bathroom unclean and untidy everyday. We requested to have an extra pillow and the hotel staff told us they’re running out of pillows on the first day we arrived. We can only get one extra pillow the night before we checkout. Modern aparthotel let down by surroundings

Brand new aparthotel in Xinzhuang. Modern design with adequate facilites, full-length windows and spacious rooms. Not a fan of the bathroom, which is where the room is at its weakest, being of a utilitarian design that comes off feeling like a serviced apartment rather than a hotel. Soundproofing isn't the best; you'll catch snippets of conversations taking place in the corridor especially from those who speak loudly. The working chair slopes forward at an awkward angle, and needs some getting used to. The pillows are woefully flat and offer no support to side sleepers. One nice touch is the robot butler which will bring items you request to your room. The nearby Honhui Plaza serves as your destination for food and shopping, but the walk there is kinda dodgy, with the main road on one side, and a used car facility on the other. But if you instead turn right when exiting the hotel, and round the bus park, you'll find a more scenic but longer route. Overall, Hyatt Place Xinzhuang offers a comfortable stay, but the surroundings don't offer much to do or see.

The hotel is fairly new and clean. Staff are very friendly. It's also walking distance from the metro system (the yellow line and purple line which can get you to the TPE airport). They also offer breakfast buffet with a lot of selections, from Chinese style to western style. (Note: we booked a 2 people room but it only comes with 1 breakfast ticket. It costs 400 NTD/~$13USD to add an additional 1. 400NTD Can get you a lot if you buy elsewhere or order from ubereats. But overall, it's a pretty good buffet in terms of options and experience. So if you are a buffet person, I think it won't let you down) The parking was free during our stay but the staff mentioned that it might change in 2023 The only drawback is that there's a construction site near the spot when we stayed. But you can walk around the hotel to stay away from there so it's no big deal.
