The room while good was a little too small. Storage was two little cubes and so you really have to live out of your suitcase. The front staff was extremely friendly and eager to help which made the stay here good.

pros: easy walkable location from train station to hotel and walkable to night markets. Quiet, safe area. Very quiet hotel, simple. cons: tight toilet position(had to sit diagonally so knees wouldn't hit the wall) and the shower and sink had a lot of mold on the caulk.

Strategic location, less than 10minute walk to Taipei Main station and lots of shopping / food places nearby. However, the central location also means that room sizes tend to be on the small side. We didn't like the layout of the room at all (we got the corner one), there was no space for us to open and take things easily from our luggage. Not sure why they put a queen bed instead of a double given the room size. Cleanliness was okay. Staff were professional and allowed us to store our bags before checking in and after checking out. All in all, there are many options in this area so best to research and compare before you make any bookings.
