"I was a bit worried based off previous reviews but we got what we expected which was just a home base close to the beach for the 4th. It wasnt perfectly spotless but we brought Lysol wipes and made do. The staff member who checked us in was wonderful. There were no bugs or musty smell like other reviews stated. No complaints."

"We really enjoyed the fourth floor corner room, which we occupied for two nights. The bed was comfortable, the bath counter space/vanity was generous, and the room was good sized. We were disappointed that the North facing window in the corner room was filthy. while the balcony and ocean view was truly wonderful, the fact that the only other window view was obscured by dirt and bird doo was disappointing. While it could be argued that keeping it clean might be a challenge, for what we paid per night and for the advantage of a corner view window, it should be maintained far better for the overall upscale environment of the hotel. We did appreciate the friendly staff, and the breakfasts were really good with plenty of variety. We would stay at this hotel again, but would really appreciate for the view visibility and windows of the corner room(s) to be kept up with excellence, inside and out!"
