Great Hotel in excellent location.

One of favorite Hotels to stay in. Great location, excellent Cafe, great big thoughtful rooms, windows can open if required, staff are very thoughtful and helpful.

Stayed over New Years Eve. Surprised to find a complementary bottle of Moët Champagne and some chocolates. Andrew was the front desk manager and he was terrific!

Hi there, We stayed for Mardi Gra great location. Had a corner room on the 1st floor great view. Could not fault it. One thing I would recommend even though they had a kitchenette it was limited. I felt we needed plunger for Coffee, a toaster and a single stove top and pan to fry bacon or eggs. The reason is you had to eat out for all meals.The Reception staff were amazing very helpful and great advice.

Small hotel in convenient location with satisfactory rooms at a reasonable price. Kitchenette is a plus. Neighbouring streets can be littered and the traffic noise can be intrusive. Overall a fairly good deal for Sydney.

The staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. The room was lovely and the food in the cafe for breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh orange juice. The only improvement I would suggest is having a ramp at the entrance for people who have trouble with stairs. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Sydney.

Had a microwave and a fridge, made it easy to takeaway meals. Easy drop-off of keys after-hours and reasonable parking for living in the city, many thanks for having me and the wonderful stay.

It was ok. The parking is a hassle but the staff were very friendly about it. The beds aren’t the best but the room was overall ok. The cafe downstairs is very convenient. Would stay again as close to Oxford Street.

We booked a kitchenette but when we arrived there was only a sandwich maker. No toaster, nothing to cook on etc. The room was very dated but had a refrigerator like any other hotel room. The building is older, I understand, but not what we expected at all. Very noisy during the day and all night, as there was an emergency response location not far from the hotel. Also, when the bars would close anytime between 1 and 3 a.m. you would hear people yelling and screaming! The staff were very kind and helpful. The cafe on the main floor was open early only until midday. Location not bad, we walked approx. 10 minutes to get to the hop on hop off bus location. No tours would pick us up from this hotel, so we walked to other hotels where they would pick up, approx. 15 - 20 minutes.

Did not meet expectations!

Our room had a kitchenette but no table and chairs! The front desk provided us with a small bistro table and two stools. The room was serviced every day. We used the laundry facility at a cost. Doors closing from adjacent rooms was noisy especially in the middle of the night. The photo in Hotel.com did not represent the type of room we had. At almost $400 a night, it did not meet our expectations.

Pros: The room was lovely, quiet, and the beds comfortable. The in-room facilities were great (we had a kitchenette in our room). Very clean. Pleasant decor. Staff were polite, pleasant, and very helpful. Cons: Not accessible friendly. We had a pram and large suitcase and found it challenging to get where we needed to. There are several steps inside the front entrance that can’t be avoided - there is no wheelchair access. Staff were very helpful with helping us lift the pram in. Doorway to room angled to create a narrow entry. It was really difficult to get the pram in and out.
