"There is a lift, and the bed is comfortable and clean. There is a set of toiletries on entry.
The bathroom was clean, shower had good water pressure and was warm.
However, the walls would benefit from cleaning. The light fixing just has a main light.
The hotel says there is heating however it was cold the first night then on the second night in -7 degree there was no heating in the room.
It's main function is a love hotel and sound proofing seemed sort of okay, some noises were still audible...

"Property did not have an elevator. Room was way too small but the bathroom was nice and big. The place is old and not too clean needs renovation. Need more English speaking speaker even if it is a little. Did not feel too safe if you're a solo traveller. I would not recommend that. "

"I recently had the opportunity to stay at this new hotel. On a positive note, the staff were very nice and accommodating. I also appreciated the convenient communal area, which offered a nice selection of water, coffee, and some snacks.
However, my experience was hampered by the room design. I found the space quite claustrophobic. The room featured only one tiny window, which made the space feel confined, and disconnected from the outside world. If you are someone who appreciates natural light...

"We had a wonderful stay at Lotte City Hotel Myeongdong and would happily stay here again. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel very welcome. Everyone we interacted with was consistently friendly, warm, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. The excellent service really stood out and made our time in Seoul even more enjoyable.
Our room was very clean, comfortable, and always made up promptly. Breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety of selections each morning and plenty of options to choose from.
The location was extremely convenient. Taxis were readily available downstairs, making pick-ups and drop-offs very easy, and there are two convenience stores nearby for anything you might need. The Myeongdong area is also within easy walking distance, which made it very convenient for shopping, restaurants, and exploring the neighborhood.
There were just a couple of inconveniences regarding the in-room amenities. Basic items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shower caps, and combs were not provided. More notably, there was no iron or ironing board in the room. To iron our clothes, we had to go down to a shared ironing room on the 3rd floor. For a hotel of this price point and standard, we found this somewhat inconvenient and would have appreciated having an iron and ironing board available in the room.
That said, these points did not take away from what was otherwise an excellent stay."
"Easy check-in, well maintained property. Travelled with kids and they loved the pool, Lotte World, the Folk Museum and the convenience of running down to the mall. Very courteous and helpful front desk and concierge team."
"The breakfast was certainly a highlight of my stay, offering an extravagant buffet with a wide variety of hot, cold, and other options, including live stations for noodles and omelets. I truly enjoyed my time here. While the room was a bit compact for my extra-large suitcases, we managed quite well. Complimentary water was provided daily, and the restroom facilities were perfect, especially with the seated toilet, which I believe guests from Western countries would particularly appreciate. We were at 31st floor with amazing view."
"Received an upgrade for my room. The front desk was nice and friendly. Breakfast is ok for commercial customers. Location is good because it is near the subway station and also a lot of restaurants opened til midnight."
"The service was wonderful, front desk staff Daisy was helpful in accommodating a late check out for me because of my flight. The property itself is beautifully located and my room was a mountain view room which was so worth the spend!"
