We checked in late at night so we had to stay there that night. Next day a maid came and did the best she could but the smell was there. "The most impressive hotel just a few minutes walk from the station connected by walkway. Loved the convenience of getting to all the places we wanted to go. Staff were most helpful and breakfast was excellent with ample variety to enjoy for a week."

"Have stayed here a couple of times in the past. The hotel is nice, inexpensive, clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. All in all, it's a good choice for a night's rest. Location is not great. While it's just across the road from Shimonoseki strait coastline, access to the shoreline is very limited by industrial areas. Also very limited dining options, outside the hotel's onsite dining room."

"I hope the hotel can be more eco-friendly. There is truly zero need to air condition the enclosed corridors 24/7. We only stay in the lobby for at most a minute and leave. It is such a waste of electricity :( The hotel can consider using the fan circulation mode instead of the heating mode. There is one Air Conditioner on every floor (3 floors, so 3 units in total hurting the Earth). As a tourist we do not need this additional comfort. The room A/C would do. Free parking, but only 3 spots so...
