"So happy with our stay at Fer. The staff were wonderful from the start and our room was all set up for us with an extra bed as requested. Breakfast was delicious and you cannot bet the location as its such a central hotel."

"Location and rooftop terrace view are the biggest selling points for this hotel. Their Turkish breakfast is incredible (but pricey), and their dinner menu is very pricey, but the views from the terrace cannot be beat and guests get full access for great photos of both Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Though we had some problems with our first room, the hotel facilitated a move that made us very happy and comfortable. Hotel staff put in a lot of extra care and service touches that really elevated the experience of staying here. I will say that the Wifi was spotty throughout our stay, including after we informed the hotel and they took measures to fix the issue - likely not their fault but rather an issue with the provider, but do beware if staying here while traveling for business or meetings. If you are a light sleeper, note that you are pinned between two mosques and the call to prayer is definitely audible (I liked this, my companion less so). "

"The location was excellent, with all the major attractions and lots of good restaurants within a few minutes walk. The breakfast provided a good selection of items to start the day off. All the staff we came across were helpful and friendly. "

"After a long travel I had a late check in, I found out that heating was not working in my room and that was really disappointing in a cold and rainy night in Istanbul.But the manager and nice staff they made it up for the next night and gave me a very nice and beautiful room. "This hotel has great potential, but unfortunately it’s not being fully realised. The location is excellent, with major attractions like Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque just a 10–15 minute walk away. There’s also a supermarket nearby, along with plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops within a few minutes’ walk. The staff were friendly and helpful, which was definitely a positive. However, the building itself is quite old and doesn’t seem to be well maintained. While the bed was made daily, it wasn’t always clear whether the room was properly cleaned. One thing to keep in mind: the hotel is close to other hotels and several restaurants, so it can get quite noisy—especially early in the morning and until 1am on weekends. If you’re a light sleeper or not a morning person, this might not be the best choice for you."
