I loved the open air concept that allows you to connect with nature. Plus the location is near all the things I wanted to do. Overall it was such a wonderful experience. We stayed in Room N, which was on the smaller side but absolutely perfect for us — intimate, peaceful, and exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon. The staff are what truly make Ladera unforgettable. A few people deserve special recognition: Stephanie, who handled our turndown service with such care Abigail at the front desk, who was always warm and welcoming Janelle at Dasheene, who went out of her way every night to say hello and make us feel remembered And our absolute favorite — the gentleman at the Hideaway Rum Bar, who was unbelievably kind and even shared the recipe for our favorite nightly cocktails I was emotional when we arrived, and just as emotional when it was time to leave. Ladera is not just a resort — it’s an experience, and one we will cherish forever. We cannot wait to return."

"8 min walk from the sea. New. Surrounded by buildings, some rather run down. We had no safety issues going to town at night. Very clean, modern. US and British electric sockets. Well-equipped kitchenette, washer/dryer. Absolutely great, nice and forthcoming owner. Probably the best place to stay in town for reasonable price."

"Stonefield Villa Resort was amazing, definitely one of the best places we vacationed. The villa we had (Hibiscus)was spacious, very clean, and had amazing views. Also the private pool was amazing. The resort is quiet and romantic great for anyone wanting to get away for some alone time. We rented a car at the airport so it was easy to get around to visit the sights, beaches, or go to town for groceries or try other restaurants."
