"The property is perfectly situated for a day and night of walking downtown Portland. The valet parking was easy, but a bit congested at times and the valet staff were super helpful even after misplacing our ticket. The staff were all friendly and informative. Our floor housekeeper Rebecca was the sweetest and has the sunniest disposition. Just briefly chatting with her in the morning made the whole day brighter. The only negative I can think of is that there was some sort of construction occurring in the lobby area and it was a bit difficult to hear the folks at the reception desk, however, they cheerfully handled it all with grace and professionalism."

When we asked him for a lunch recommendation, he suggested a fantastic local spot! His knowledge of the area and willingness to go the extra mile made us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. "I chose this hotel specifically because it was advertised as pet-friendly, as I was traveling with my well-trained dog. While the location was convenient and the room itself was comfortable, the experience was soured by the lack of transparency regarding the pet policy. When I booked, the additional pet fee was not clearly disclosed. I was extremely annoyed to be informed that there was a flat pet cleaning fee for bringing a well-behaved animal into the room. If a hotel charges a premium for pets, there should be clear communication about that cost upfront, or they should at least provide amenities to justify the extra cleaning fee they claim to be charging."
