"This was our 3rd visit but the changes did not improve the hotel. The refurbished restaurant was clinical and so noisy, the constant scraping of chairs on tiled floor. The former extra restaurant area which was a quiet haven is now the AI snack area briefly opened for the odd hour or so. We missed the outside water fountain too. In our bedroom, the balcony door and windows were in a bad state and badly needed painting. No hair drier in the bathroom is ridiculous. Also, we had no bidet. Beds...

"Loved the property!! There’s a pub right across the street where we sang karaoke with the locals. Wish it was closer to the water but then we wouldn’t have met all the awesome locals. It was a short 10 minute Uber to the water."

"Great view from the property. We liked the place overall. They have onsite parking for a fee or you can park on the street which is not busy since this hotel has a rural location. The only annoying thing we found was that the pool "closes" at a certain time (7 pm comes to mind) and they literally put up a fince around it to keep everyone out. In the morning the pool is not available until almost noon. The town of Mijas seems like a total tourist trap but has some decent food if you can find the place! The town is built into a hill and the streets are steep and winding. Free parking is limited but there is a garage if all else fails."
