"What a treat it was to stay here. A very warm welcome, clear helpful instructions to enter when we arrived a little earlier than expected. The room is very comfortable with two easy chairs which is unusual. A coffee maker with a wide choice of pods plus a kettle with tea and coffee. Everything is spotlessly clean and good quality. We really enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend it."

"Stayed in a twin room which came with a sink and shared bathroom facilities. Lovely location. The staff were very friendly and there was lots of information on local walking routes. Well stocked shop and a nice simple breakfast which we hadn't expected."

"This is a lovely hotel. Very well maintained and quiet. The grounds are gorgeous and the room was incredible with almost 360° window views. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is located about a 30 minute drive from Inverness city center. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Inverness."

"A most pleasant place to stay,a great welcome on arrival,with lots of helpful advice about the local area and recommendations of where to eat etc. Our room was spotless and tasteful furnished ,as was the place throughout,and a lovely breakfast cooked to perfection made our experience 100% satisfied. "I only stayed for one night - the room was very comfortable, had an en-suite bathroom and kettle with tea/coffee etc. Continental breakfast was brought to my room on a tray and the host was very helpful with directions for a shortcut to walk down into Ullapool. The house is on a quiet street just off the main road. Would recommend."

"Set in beautiful private grounds, always a pleasure to stay here. Staff in all areas are friendly and helpful. I like the spacious bar and lounges. I particularly enjoy their classic Scottish breakfast, with potato scones, black pudding and haggis."

"This is an old Victorian hotel with character. It suited us because it's not modern and sterile like so many other hotels today. The room was comfortable and staff were friendly. We did not eat at the hotel so we can't comment on the food. The town is lovely to walk around with a couple of cafes and a small Morrison's grocery shop."
