"Have seen this hotel come up a few times and thought i would try it when i was working in the area. Being a golf club it has lots of extras, gym, spa, pool etc. The gym was well equipped with the latest tech, the pool area was lovely with a jacuzzi ,steam and sauna room. Clean changing rooms with ample lockers. The room was spacious with one of the largest beds ive seen, decent amenities, tea,coffee n biscuits. Great bathroom and shower. The restaurant was nice, the food was decent with plenty of options and great prices. A great place to stay and i will return. "

"The staff were really helpful and provided a take away breakfast at 5:30 am and additional tea and coffee sachets. Room clean but hot due to the air conditioning being broken which we had been notified of in advance and a fan was supplied."

"Courteous, friendly staff in an excellent old Manor House. We hosted a dinner party which went without a hitch due to our waiters. The food was great as well."

"Very helpful and friendly staff, rooms comfortable although lack of aircon in summer meant the room was hot. Courtyard area outside the rooms is great for drinks. There are a couple of pubs within walking distance but the town is an uphill 30 minute walk. "
