"Greay hotel, fantastically located. Large hotel but personal touches. Has a wide variety of excellent options for breakfast. Rooms were larger than expected with high ceilings. Bathrooms were nice, although the soap dispensers were a bit useless. Used the spa and the pool which were really lovely. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again."

"Hairdryer was that old style one attached to the wall that didn't work - it kept switching off. It was only when I was checking out the staff told me that there was a hairdryer in the wardrobe which due to the old one in the bathroom i didnt realise this. In hindsight I should haev told them about the hairdryer but I also think that those old style hairdryers should be removed from the bathrooms - it is 2026."

"This is a very old style hotel, but, unlike others, is properly maintained in this style, with high quality decoration. The only drawback is it doesn't lend itself to air conditioning! Front desk was friendly and helpful, location is in the heart of the city's excellent transport system and the breakfast was first rate!"

"Would have been 5 stars if it was a bit more family-friendly. In every other aspect, the property is superb! The staff was wonderful, and the breakfast was excellent. We had 2 children in our group ( ages 10, and 7), and only 1 of the 3 pools is available for them, and only between 8-11am. It was a nice pool and they enjoyed it. The rooms were well-appointed and the beds were comfortable. There are no coffee makers or tea pots in the rooms, and nothing available in the hotel until 7:30am. It is very close to the stadium(s). We had a vehicle, so I can't tell you how close it is to other dining and shopping options. We would stay here again if not traveling with the kids."
