"Excellent hotel. Amazingly helpful staff members, so friendly. Turn down service daily refilling free mini fridge with soft drinks, milk and waters. Drink on arrival and bottle of wine prior to check out as a thank you. Amenities were everything you could need and all clean and in working order. The location itself is perfect, completely walkable to main attractions (shopping centre, jewish quarter, lots of bars and restaurants) and situated on the main square of the old town, offering incredible views and things to do on your doorstep. Incredible value for money. Would recommend this hotel 100 times over. "

"Excellant location, close to the main square. Rooms cleaned every day, friendly staff and a good choice of breakfast. There was only one thing I would say was wrong, there was no milk in the room to make a cup of tea. I would stop there again. Lovely stay."

"What a beautiful boutique hotel. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the Opus bar amazing…..we loved the atmosphere. Rooms were spacious and everywhere there was a feeling of opulence. Gym small but perfectly formed. Pool really like a large jacuzzi but still a lovely facility. Overall an excellent stay and the staff really were so helpful and genuine. Thank you for a wonderful four days. "

"Great stay, as usual. This is my third stay over the years and this hotel still keeps high standard. If us very clean and quiet. Rather minimalistic but you have everything what you need for a few days in Krakow. Location is very good if you want to visit old town and the Jewish district of Kazimierz. There are bikes to borrow, small gym. Super clean sauna, steam room and the testing area. Excellent although rather pricey breakfast. I will definitely stay there again next year. "

"This is a lovely hotel in the heart of the Kazimierz district very close to restaurants and pubs and also historical visits to synagogues and museums- walking possible to all city centre places and excellent trams. "We stayed for 3 nights bed and breakfast at the Balthazar Design Hotel… what a great stay we had.. Location of Hotel is fantastic for making it your base in Krakow, The Castle is literally next door and the main square a 10 minute stroll away. We arrived later than planned due to delay with travel arrangements and arranged breakfast for the next morning to be available on a take away basis as we had a 6am pick up for a tour booked the next morning, it was no issue and was ready and waiting for us a reception. The hotel was definitely up there in terms of quality, lovely rooms with ‘quirky’ but beautiful decor, lovely bathroom and quality Milton Brown bathroom essentials. Super comfortable beds, room safe and nice touch of a welcome drink on arrival in the room. Special shout out to ‘Asia’ who hosted breakfast in the Fiorentina restaurant and the service she provided was excellent, went out of her way to ensure we had everything we wanted. Breakfast was table service and multiple combinable options from omelettes, pancakes, cereals, choice of breads and continental meats and cheeses and all delightfully presented and cooked to order. After a smooth check out, the hotel assisted us with a tour of Krakow by golf buggy , which wanted to do before our evening flight home. Picked up from the hotel and arranged in 10mins!.
