"Staff and service were amazing. Incredibly responsive. Pool and restaurant were wonderful. We spent much time there. We enjoyed the free shuttle into town. breakfast was delicious and they brought to our room and balcony for no charge. Our villa was amazing however we did have trouble with the air conditioning. The villa is an Indonesian style so we are not clear if the design does not allow for proper cooling (bathroom is outdoors) or if it was a faulty aircon. Staff tried daily to make us more comfortable and brought in several fans. The location is a bit away from el nido town and up a steep hill. This allowed for beautiful stunning views and sunsets but required a ride up and down the hill. This was our favourite hotel and all things in, we would stay here again."
"The staff at the hotel were so helpful and flexible . A really friendly resort . They arranged our tours and transfers , helping us to arrange a private tour. Incredible sunset views from the pool and the sparkly lights at night in the pool were magical . A great atmosphere and all you could ask for ."
"We had the most amazing stay here honestly, it was even better than I expected. We stayed in the Cocoon and everything about it was perfect. The room itself was outstanding, so unique and comfortable, with the most unreal view to wake up to every day.
The staff were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Check in was so easy and welcoming, and they even let us check in early because our room was already ready, which we really appreciated after travelling. It was also great that you don’t have to pay anything until checkout, which made everything feel really relaxed and hassle free.
The shuttle service was fantastic and super convenient they organised our airport transport for us and picked us up right outside our room. The pool area was lovely and the breakfast each morning was delicious as well.
Overall, such a beautiful experience and I would 100% stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting El Nido!"
"Entire staff were friendly, helpful and focused on ensuring you enjoy every moment of your stay. They even let us check out late (normally 12noon) knowing our flight to Manila was in the evening. All available water sports amenities were complementary including vest and snorkeling gear. Lifeguard is available all day and always ready to help — ie use paddle board or launch kayak. Filtered water is available all throughout the facility which is a delight given the Palawan heat. Will surely come back and recommend this place to family and friends. We had the best experience ever— better than Hawaii or Cabo— from staff to beach view and beach time including the pool and spa. Thank you Seda for a wonderful start of our retirement journey."
"The perch was not what we expected. While the view was incredible that I guess is what you are paying for. For the price we paid we expected much more. The staff was very very friendly so we do appreciate that. We didn’t appreciate that transfer from airport was an extra charge as most places at that price point do include this. Checking in we recognized that the pool advertised is a plunge pool and not the cleanest pool. The welcome drink was lemonade that tasted like crystal light. The bar menu for somewhere so isolated was also SO minimal. There were only about 3 cocktail options so staying at the pool wasn’t as enjoyable. We got to the villa and while it was extremely spacious it just looked not as nice as the pictures. We noticed that we found a larvae and spider in the freshly changed sheets. When we asked about getting them changed the housekeeper was like it’s just this little spider? But then changed the sheets after insisting. When we asked to checkout and get refund they refused. The bathroom periodically smelled like sewage as well. Also we are right by the zip line, which was convenient and incredibly fun, but could hear the people yelling all day. I will say the breakfast was delicious and nicely sized portions. We ended up leaving a night early and didn’t get a refund for that."
