"Had a lovely 5 night stay. Nice room, very clean. Helpful staff, everyone was very friendly and nice. There are major works going on to the outside at the quay side of the hotel(March 2026), made absolutely no difference as it was too cold to sit out anyway. I’m sure this will be completed by the time the weather gets better. Overall we had a great time and would return "

"Having been to Jersey many times and stayed in many excellent hotels we were delighted with our stay at the Golden Sands. The reception area was very welcoming as were the staff. Our room was really lovely and had an unbelievable sea view. The bed was very comfortable, the shower amazing and the tea, coffee and biscuits very welcome. We had lunch when we arrived which was delicious. Breakfast had so much choice, it was really hard to choose! We ate in the evening and again the food was fabulous. The Golden Sands must be so proud of their staff and the exceptional service they give. We were sad to leave but will definitely be back and will recommend this beautiful hotel to others."

"Hotel is in a great position in St Helier, check in was easy, the room was good however it was extremely hot, even with the window open as there was heat but no air con. Facilities were good, but in the Spa area the hot tub was not working nor the heated beds. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. The only other problem was the room was not serviced, we were out until 2 pm then again for an hour from 3 but no sign of it being serviced."

"Cleanliness of all facilities really good, staff extremely pleasant and polite. Room perfectly adequate if decor a little dated."

"Room had some issues with air con vent misding a screw and hanging down which was fixed. Vent is bathroom did not work properly even after telling desk 3 times so bathroom steamed up every day after a shower. Food in restaurant was ok, never managed to use spa. Location was good, parking was ok but may be difficult in summer. Overall is a goid hotel with friendly staff"

"Check in was efficient, all staff very friendly, breakfast was very good with lots of choices, food served in evening in the bar was good too. Room was very nice, glad we paid the extra for the sea view as it was lovely to sit and look out at. Nice that it has a pool and jacuzzi and steam room, but prepare yourself before getting into the pool as it was very cold! We picked this hotel over others in the area because of the easy walk into St Helier and the free onsite parking but the spaces out the front of the hotel are limited and some spaces are too small to fit cars in properly and you can end up being blocked in. On our first day a lot of the parking was taken up by staff parking. There is a small overflow car park around the corner but again limited spaces. All said and done we would recommend the hotel and stay there again"
