Staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel a bit dated, but spotlessly clean. Good choice at breakfast, eggs cooked to order! Also had the advantage of a poolside room 🏊‍♂️

Would definitely stay again

My travel to get here was fraught with issues. From the moment I walked in the door to the time I left, everything about the stay here was a treat. Excellent customer service, comfortable room, nice bar and restaurant.

Great staff - not so comfy

The staff were all super friendly. Rooms and environs always clean. Surprises included the rock hard bed, the single ply toilet paper, and lighting in the room that was very dim - even with a lighted keyboard it was difficult to work.

Pros were the excellent and attentive staff. The breakfast buffet was hot, varied and delicious. The distance to St Helier is walkable which gives a great choice of restaurants for the evening meal. Indoor heated pool and jacuzzi - which was actually hot. Cons were simply the heat - we were there in the last week of July when there was a heatwave, which was lovely by day - but by night too much as there’s no air conditioning in the rooms or indeed elsewhere in the hotel. Outdoor pool not heated - in fact, freezing.

Great hotel, staff very pleasant and helpful throughout. Room good size, large comfortable bed, bathroom with shower and bath. Ample toiletries supplied. Hospitality tray, which was replenished daily. Very good breakfast, with wide choice. Free parking on site. Good wi-fi. There I are two pools and spa, but unfortunately we didn’t have time to go in either. Hotel is about 20 minutes walk from St Helier where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Buses also stop nearby. Only a couple of small gripes. Room next to us had TV on loud, walls are not very soundproof. Also weather had turned cold even though it was early September and there was no heating in the rooms. Otherwise great stay and would recommend.

Room was dated, but very tidy and clean, pool facilities were okay, but in need of refurbishment. The sauna was out of order and the mini gym lacked a treadmill. We stayed in a family room, it could have done with more towel rails in the bathroom and a drying rack for when the weather is less agreeable. Otherwise, the staff were amazing and made our stay memorable and fantastic. The plentiful parking was a massive bonus, as was the included breakfast.

Hotel was excellent within easy walking distance to main shopping areas with bars and restaurants. Hotel staff were great and very informative regarding transport etc , would highly recommend the Monteray whilst visiting Jersey

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The two pools were well maintained. Breakfast was very good. It would be better if the bedroom windows would open further to let more fresh air in.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and overlooked the pool. It was hot when we there so air-con would have made the stay perfect but we were given fans so that helped. There is a short walk to Millennium Park where there are shops and bars and only took us 20 mins to walk to the main shopping area and Liberation Square is just a little further on. We would definitely stay there again

The hotel was clean and Reception staff on arrival very helpful. The room was spacious, ideal for us as a family of 4 and facilities very good. Only downside was not being able to order from the bar menu , and not really knowing where we could go for dinner - as hotel is a 10-15 min from high street. But would still recommend :-)

Some modern facilities a bit lacking - no plugs near the bed. TV too small for a very large room. Restaurant staff very attentive and lovely. Every body very pleasant and we would stay again.

Great staff. Food was good but it is very noisy at night with the busy road with having to leave the windows open and having no air con was a problem for us. The fan provided doesn’t really do anything. Had a good stay but have booked a different hotel for next year as defo need air con to be able to sleep.

Avoid....no air-conditioning!!!!!

Avoid during summer. NO AIR-CONDITIONING!!!!!!! Most uncomfortable night's sleep I have ever had. Even after changing rooms and being given a fan, sweated all through the night. Hotel was very expensive, so the least I would have expected was air-conditioning and a comfortable night's sleep. Staff in the morning were not interested at all and didn't even ask if we'd enjoyed our stay!!! I said to the lady on reception, in case she was interested, that we had had a very uncomfortable night's sleep. She told me to do a review on Trip Advisor!! I told her I definitely would!!! Over-priced meal in restaurant. Prawn cocktail tasted tainted of something (smoked salmon?) - it was simply awful!! Breaded chicken tough and almost inedible - I left half of it!! I am former airline crew who has stayed in hotels all over the world. This was the worst experience of a hotel stay. Very disappointed.

Hôtel magnifique, de très beau standing. Les chambres sont très belles et très confortables, bénéficient de tous les équipements utiles. La salle des repas est vaste et les repas très soignés. Le personnel est disponible, à l'écoute des besoins, et on a l'impression d'être dans un hotel de luxe. Je recommande vivement les repas , car la variété des plats et la présentation sur les assiettes sont exemplaires. Ma femme et moi reviendrons sans hésiter dans cet hôtel lors de notre prochain séjour. Bravo à toute l'équipe.

Excellent !

Accueil très courtois, bel établissement. Ambiance feutrée, so British. Excellent petit déjeuner. Dîner copieux et à l’excellent rapport qualité-prix, service chaleureux et aux petits soins. Piscine intérieure très agréable. Seul bémol : le manque d’insonorisation de notre chambre. Nous retenons l’adresse pour un prochain séjour à Jersey !
