"Recommend this hotel for your next trip to St Pete. The hotel was kept very clean, breakfast was quite diverse specially for a holiday inn express, and staff were friendly and helpful! Shoutout to Jimmy for going above and beyond with his great service and super helpful shuttle service to beaches and locations within 5miles. Location was excellent within walking distance to Walmart and TX Roadhouse, and beaches within a 10min drive. Will be staying here next time !"

Avalon Hotel Downtown St. Petersburg

"This is a super cute boutique hotel and I loved that a property from 1930 is still up and running. With that said, this isn’t a modern place and you’re going to have a relatively loud AC in the room (but it did seem to block out almost all of the street noise). I loved that there was easy free parking. I walked next door to the sister property for dinner and it was very good. I saw they had a pool and gym at that property too. I received a fee room upgrade on check-in, which I assume was because I booked through this platform. It’s also walking distance to the new 2nd DCA courthouse, which made it very convenient. Wish it had some breakfast offerings that weren’t sit down, but I’d still stay here (or maybe the sister property) in the future."

"They should remove this listing completely. It is absolutely one of the worst. I read the reviews, people saying the same but naive me thought surely they fixed the AC problems. And staff they ghost you. Now I have to fight for the 50$ incidental fee which they say they have no record of. I have my receipt but now I have to spend my time chasing for what they owe me."

"My husband and I stayed at Crystal Bay for almost two months, as we sold our house and we are about to move to a different part of the world, but I had to finish up my work. It was a great experience staying there, it made us feel like home. All the staff are super friendly, just down to the earth; breakfast was amazing; hotel atmosphere was nice, classic and full of taste. We really enjoyed our time while staying there."

"The breakfast bar was really not what was expected compared to the Hilton properties. NO HOT FOOD AND DIRECTIONS TO THE COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST WAS NON-EXISTENT. RUDE CASHIER WHEN I HAD TO "PAY" FOR MY COFFEE AND MUFFIN. FRONT COUNTER STRAFF ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! GREAT! JENNIFER AT DESK IN THE EVENING, THE BEST OF THE BEST WORKING SOLO."
