"This hotel was great for going in and out of the city centre. Room was fab, had a spacious room and all amenities were superb. We were grateful for the fan in the room as it was a touch warm when we were there!"

"The Balmoral Hotel was impeccable and very clean. The door mans were always very polite and helpful. The location is excellent near the Waverley train station and within a decent walk to Old Edinburgh. The only disappointment was that we had an emergency and wanted to leave one day earlier but the Hotel management refused to give a credit or a even a partial refund. We were forced to stay the extra night since the room fee was very high."

"Location perfect for a first time visit to Edinburgh as so close to many historical sites and lots of restaurants and shops. We stayed at beginning and end of our trip.our 4th floor room more spacious than the room we had on the 3rd floor.Both were clean. We did not eat but did enjoy a drink at the bar one evening with a friendly crowd."
