"As you arrived at the hotel everything smelt lovely. The service ar the front desk was excellent, in fact all the staff were helpful and courteous. Hotel was spotless, room spacious and breakfast excellent."

"The hotel exceeded all expectations. We arrived and our room was not quite ready. The check in staff offered us a voucher for two glasses of champagne while we waited; they then come to find us to tell us the room was ready and they had upgraded us. We had a lovely room with a nice view. On the way back after dinner we stopped at 12th knot for a couple of cocktails and enjoyed the atmosphere and great view over St Paul’s. Our room was on the 9th floor, not the biggest room we have ever stayed at, but a good size, with a nice bathroom and decent amenities. My only comment is that it would be nice if there was a mirror by the desk so that it can be used as a dresser. The bed was comfortable and the hotel quiet, no slamming doors through the night like in other hotels. A very enjoyable stay. "

"Great location! Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating to everything. The bedroom was very clean and spacious - the bed was super comfortable and the pillow and duvet were perfect! The only improvement would be either a heated towel rail in the bathroom or heated floor as it was a little cold however the robe and slippers provided rectified this!!"

"This hotel was in a perfect location and we were pleasantly surprised how good the breakfast was so definitely worth getting the meal package. The staff was friendly and my only complaint was not having a fridge in room. We would stay here again."

"Overall great experience at Strand Palace. Fabulous location in Covent Garden with access to restaurants, stores, theatre and three different Underground stations each within 1/4. Lovely, clean and updated rooms and lobby. Staff very helpful. Breakfast great and plentiful. I would stay again there for sure. "

"Area around and in the hotel felt unsafe, I was followed to my room. The room was very dated and despite advising my allergy the staff served me food covered in the item I was allergic to. "
