Room was ok, heating was ok (important in February). Would prefer 1 bathsheet and 1 hand towel each, not to have to share a hand towel. Design of tap/sink in the bathroom meant that water splashed everywhere and the area next to the sink was always wet. Check in staff were not very friendly. Would have liked to be able to eat supper in the hotel. Breakfast was very disappointing, enough staff, but some food items ran out at 9.30am. Also, one coffee machine for all those using the restaurant is not enough and created long queues.

The rooms were spotless and the staff both at reception and housekeeping were kind and courteous. We stayed in an access room and it met our needs for wheelchair access. A small bugbear was having to hold the door open to gain access to the room. We will be going again next week for another 5 night stay.

Window seal needs attention to make it sound proofed, noise from M25 and Sainsbury’s petrol station can be solved if the window has a tighter seal when closed, this may have come lose over time. Team members are lovely!

Really enjoyed our stay however a slight downside was that it was really busy and packed during breakfast. There were no tables to sit. Maybe more space need to be allocated as the hotel is clearly a popular place.

I booked two rooms for my family. Beside all the good experience, it become worse on December 01, 2025. When at breakfast, one staff member came to our table with burnt bread slices in his hand and rudly banged in front of my brother quoted, "This is what you need". Everyone got stunt and then a lady beside our table responded, she put these in toaster but they got stuck there. This person never apologized and walked away. I reported this to receptionist and she said he is higher in rank from me, so can't help. If Holiday Inn is not able to train its staff members, there is no point staying there in future.

The staff were very welcoming. The hotel was going through renovations which could have been mentioned on the hotels page when booking. We found it easy to park when we got there and the room was clean, however the toilet didn't work very well as the pressure seemed to be lacking. Apart from that the stay would have been a 5 star

The hotel was great, clean modern room, comfortable and would have been spacious but the sofa bed was made up. Food in the restaurant wasn't very appetising this time though I'm afraid. Breakfast was OK but the curry I had for dinner was not good, chewy chicken and hard nan bread!

The staff at this hotel were excellent - every single person we met was helpful, courteous and went out of their way. However the room and bed was tiny - we booked this as a family of 4 and the second bed was so small our two children struggled to fit in it. The team resolved this for us but I can’t recommend the hotel for a family stay.
