"A lovely conserved property with a deep history restored and full of memories to discover. Very convenient to get to the river and other food spots in the old town. Highly recommended. "
"Nice hotel for a few nights stay. A few issues like the shower head kept falling out of the stand and the pillows were extremely uncomfortable, but all in all it was a comfortable hotel with a decent breakfast, helpful staff and really well situated. Would stay again."

"This is a fabulous hotel . The welcome we received when checking in was wonderful . We received an unexpected upgrade to Riverview room which was amazing . We had views all along the beautiful waterfront . Which was stunning when nightfall came and all the area lit up with a myriad of coloured lights .
The breakfast was plentiful and delicious !We also ate in the Riverview Cafe and had coffee downstairs in coffee shop area .food and drinks at both were exceptionally good .
The staff throughout the hotel were warm , friendly and exceedingly helpful The premises were spotlessly clean and well cared for .
It had a quiet calm ambience throughout .
It certainly is a 5 Star hotel which gave us a 5 Star visit to Kuching ."
"This hotel is ideally located in the centre of the city, it’s located right across 2 famous streets in Kuching.
Hotel breakfast is great, rooms are clean and room cleaning is done daily."
"Had a lovely time here. Great location near the river and amenities. Friendly staff, comfortable room. Highlight was the chicken rice at breakfast. Delicious. "
"I have travelled to Kuching many times and stayed at various hotels in this lovely city. I decided to try the the Ranee Suites on a whim. I did not regret that decision.
The most stellar part of my visit was the staff. Very polite, well informed and highly responsive! I needed to extend my stay by half a day and although my room was not available, they got me a room and moved my bags in a jiffy.
The room I had was huge! It was clean and very comfortable. The lighting was perhaps a little low but it was adequate. There is a need for more electrical outlets as there was only one available which had to be shared with the kettle.
An outlet with a USB port next to the bedside works have been handy and perhaps the hotel can consider adding this at sometime.
The room came with breakfast which was passable. Choices were quite limited. At the time I had breakfast, 8:30am, the restaurant was not crowded but service was slow. Only 2 staff were present and they were struggling to keep up with all the duties they had.
The hotel is very well located right on the Kuching waterfront and is in easy walking distance of many attractions.
Overall a really pleasant stay and this has become my favourite hotel in Kuching. "
"The staff here are lovely: welcoming and helpful. The hotel is about 15 mins walk from the waterfront, and there are lots of eating places en route.
The decor and furniture in the rooms is dated, but I think this is appropriately reflected in the price. Each floor has a stuffed bookcase with a wide range of books which guests can borrow.
I experienced both a buffet breakfast and an individual one during my stay. The individually-prepared breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice; the buffet was pretty standard. I especially recommend a papaya granola smoothie!"
