"Absolutely fantastic stay at Black Rock Resort!!! Spectacular room and amenities. Views are breathtaking, food was delicious and staff were friendly and helpful. We were lucky to have good weather 2 out of 3 days in late October but the inclusion of real rain jackets in our room made the rainy 2nd day enjoyable. The Wild Pacific Trail is right beside the hotel and definitely worth the hike if you are able. Lighthouse Loop is near and also a wonderful hiking option as are a number of other trails in the area. Tofino is a half hour drive for even more things to do. We had a truly amazing stay at Black Rock Resort and I would highly recommend the resort for any couple or family looking for a stay in the breathtaking nature of the area."

"It’s right at the beach, so it makes it really convenient to just chill at the beach. The cox bay beach is therapeutic. The property was extremely clean and the cottage I booked was well equipped with all the basics. The folks at the reception are really friendly and will give you the right information about anything you need. Only thing to note is that the resort is on the Pacific Rim Highway about 10 mins away from town, so you will either have to drive or take the bc transit shuttle, if you want to go to town for other activities. Also, the resort does have a restaurant on premises, but there are restaurants /cafes available in the adjoining resorts which are 1 min walk away. Overall, I had a wonderful stay, would highly recommend this resort! "
