"Clean room, luggage storage available, ok breakfast. Shower wasn't great as we did not get proper hot water. Bathroom design is not ideal but bed is comfortable."

"I liked this hotel in every way but the most outstanding thing was the view from the diningroom of a really lovely garden with mature trees, shrubs etc. As the whole of the wall was glass, the view was probably the most spectacular I'd ever seen from a hotel dining room."

"Lovely hotel right in the centre of beautiful, friendly and clean historic town of Oundle. The hotel has their own carpark. Our room was ready when we arrived even though we were early. It was spotless. There is even a surprise treat and toy for our cavapoo dog Bella. The staff are so friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Great hotel, let down slightly by only 4 teabags for a two night stay for 2 people. It did state in the hand book that we would be charged for extra tea and coffee . But the major let down was the food. It was terrible, so bad we had to ask for a full refund. Which was a shame because the surroundings were amazing"

"Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We were away from main building and room was very spacious. Could do with a few maintenance jobs but nothing major. On my experience does not warrant poor reviews for a 3 star budget hotel. Reception staff welcoming and breakfast staff helpful."
