"Heron Island is amazing destination but the property is starting to look tired. It is very expensive to eat, 1 restaurant (breakfast, lunch&dinner)& 1 bar, opens at 10am with limited food if fridge works!!. Same breakfast everyday is $35pp. Cafe style coffee for 2 $15, didn't have lunch. Dinner for 2 with 2 drinks and 1 dessert around $100.
Diving and snorkelling was great. 1 dive $150pp & $50 for snorkelling from a boat.
Free at high tide unless you hire snorkelling equipment.

"This is such a great place to stay! We drove 4 hrs and we will definitely be back.
The food was great! Drinks were great.
