"We stayed one night so we could do the caverns , super convenient! Great little place, my only complaint (which isn’t the fault of the hotel but something to consider) the restaurant has weird hours, so it was closed the day we were there (a Monday) and the only place to get food is 20 minutes away in Carlsbad . So after a long day you may not want to drive into town, and no place would deliver because of the distance. Just something to think about. "

"I noticed a blood spatter in the bathroom in an awkward spot which could have been overlooked easily, but it was there nonetheless. I would also not recommend consuming the ice in any way as it tasted horrible."
