I had a great stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms, though clean and well-maintained are old and the AC placement is a bit too far from the bed.

My stay here was awesome. On check in they were having a smoked brisket meal with all the trimmings out by the pool, the breakfast is home cooked and delicious! All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the room was clean and cool. The big bonus for me was the gift shop, which has a great selection of local and southwest items. I would recommend staying here for sure, i will go back.

The complimentary breakfast was so much better than anything you would get a chain hotel and the BBQ they sell on the patio at night is as good or better than anything I've had in Memphis or Dallas. Front desk staff was very helpful and kind and the pool and facilities are all nice. Great value for the dollar

The hotel has very cool southwestern style. The pool was nice and clean. Breakfast was excellent. All the interactions with the staff were very helpful. They keep sleds for white sands in the lobby, no need to buy ahead of time like we did. It is very conveniently located to White Sands national Park.

The staff was so helpful & friendly! The breakfast was amazing and the choices were plentiful. My only complaint was that our room ran out of hot water after one short shower. My husband didn’t get a warm shower. Other than that, the room was comfortable and well maintained!

I was pleasantly surprised to walk into what appeared to be a beautifully renewed and decorated room. Everything was cleaning, including the bathroom floors (which is usually an issue in many hotels). The included breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and the add ons (seasonal fruit and cranberry juice) were surprisingly inexpensive. The office/checkin staff were so friendly and helpful, as were the cleaning personnel who we contacted to get extra coffee and trash bags. I loved this hotel and will definitely go back there.

The Classic Desert Aire Hotel was disappointing overall. The room felt dirty, with a musty smell, dirty carpet, ants in the bathroom, and bedding that did not feel fresh. The faucet did not work well, the shower temperature was difficult to adjust, and too much outside light came into the room at night. The staff was helpful, parking was excellent, and there were nice dining options nearby. The bathroom also had good mirrors and pleasant natural light. Overall, the hotel needs much better cleaning and maintenance.

The hotel was near everything we wanted to do. Parking was right outside of the room. Beds and pillows were just right. The room was comfortable and mostly clean. Check-in and check-out were easy and pleasant. We had two areas that brought the review down a bit for the stay. First, the bathtub was fairly worn and the bathroom floor was not clean around the edges. Second, breakfast was quirky. The left side of the menu was included and the right side was $4 off. I thought "restaurant style, how nice!" The first morning, we had an egg bowl, which was small but good and prompt. The second morning, we walked into a harried different staff person, who took 20 minutes to take our order. I guess that is a downside to restaurant style vs buffet. Overall, we would stay there again.
