"Just great as normal "

"I had to change the room as there was plenty of hair on the mattress cover. Overall cleanliness is questionable from dirty and smeared windows to dusty telephones. Spa is beyond average with rusty lockers and steam room that hardly produces any steam. The biggest perk of this hotel is the location, otherwise its seen better days."

"Our first room was really dirty, deep ingrained dirt and a general lack of everyday cleaning too. Luckily the kind manager moved us to a better room that was much cleaner. The staff are great, very friendly and the breakfast was reasonably good - but the building is very tired and and grubby with marked walls, peeling paint and dirty windows - which is such a shame because it is fabulously located and could be a real jewel in Cardiff's crown! The building is quite damp and this triggered one of our party's asthma so that is also something to consider when booking."
