South Wales hotel rooms a the Bespoke

"Breakfast was average by standards and the bar prices are pretty horendous ! We ended up going to a local pub as it was cheaper by a long shot ! If it was in London i could understand but West wales!"

"Although the early check in was appreciated, for some reason we were given an adapted room. As it was in a quiet area of the hotel we accepted it. I took a shower after checking in but the shower was blocked and flooded the whole bathroom. At 5pm I was told there were no maintenance staff on duty so we had to move rooms. This room was much noisier, on the main road. Not the best nights sleep"

" had a good two night stay at Tŷ Newport. The hotel was as you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The room was a good size, it had a kettle and the courtesy tray. The bathroom was a spacious with shower only. The noise insulation was very good. The motorway was running very close to the hotel and yet there was no noise. All the people at the reception were very friendly and professional. Also the barman was nice and polite. The only two little suggestions for improvement are: It would be useful to have a mini fridge in the room as well as some hand and body lotion in the bathroom. I liked the green initiative they had: If you did not need to have your towels changed every day, you got a voucher for a free drink at the bar. If I were go back to Newport, I would happily stay at Tŷ Newport again."

"We came away for a long week to Cardiff, and would not hesitate to stop at the same hotel again. Rooms were clean and spacious, beds were comfy, staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice, and the hotel was in a great location, just a 5 minute walk from the castle, and also Queens Street Station which can get you to Cardiff Bay in a few minutes. Loved every part of the stay."

"Hotel stay was great. Jacuzzi was very small and always full. Not much vegetarian option for breakfast. "

"We didn't get the type of room we paid for and the mattress was beyond uncomfortable, had a very thin duvet and only 2 very thin pillows. Spoke to reception the following morning and were moved immediately. Next room was more like what we were expecting. Mattress still uncomfortable where you could feel the springs, duvet & pillows were the same as other room. Shower head wasn't working properly, spoke to reception and to be fair she had it changed whilst we were out getting breakfast."
