"We loved it!!"

"I booked a room with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. When I arrived to the hotel to check in, the front desk told me the room was being cleaned and she went to check on it too see if it was ready. After 10 minutes she came back and said it only had a king bed and that they hotel was overbooked. She then stated she would send me next door to their other property for a room. I received an apology from her, but nothing else. I went to the other hotel, received my room, and it contained no sofa bed. I needed the sofa bed as I was with a party of three and we couldn't share beds."

"Such a pleasure staying in a historical hotel"

"Beach view is great and I love the easy access to the beach. However, the cleaning staff missed to clean the sofa bed. When I extended the sofa bed, it was very sandy. I called the front desk and was told someone will change it but no one came so I went to the front desk to get a new bedsheet myself so my son can sleep. The shower is not working properly too. They need to fix that for the next user. I addressed these issues to the front desk but did not even offer something for the inconveniences that we encounter. Not worth the money I paid for."

"Well they do charge for parking. There’s that. I guess since they are downtown San Antonio. Or you can frantically look for parking on the street that you have to pay for but free on Sunday. Quaint location, I must say with short walking distance to everything. Banks, the Alamo, food, shopping, the river walk, other hotels. Came during spring break so I kind of understood waiting an hour to check in with long line in the lobby and no one at valet to pick up cars. Guess their parking was maxed out. Front desk with one person and house keeping tried their best to keep up. The place was not dirty but not spotless at the same time. Beds and furniture very comfy with big wide windows to get a good view of city at night. A full kitchen setup with lots of small necessities like paper towels and utensils. Bare minimum towels in the bathroom however, but enough soaps. "

"The pool was nice and staff was friendly. We enjoyed our stay. We just wished the weather was better. It rained the entire trip but the staff was accommodating with other activities. "

"Pool wasn’t really heated and the hotel room wasn’t the cleanest but the staff was really nice"
