"I don’t understand why charge for the parking space and the reservation fees"

"Kitchen faucet was leaking and flooded the counter and floor. Someone came up, said they wld fix it in the morning and nobody ever showed to fixed it. Water pressure in shower is a joke. Took forever to rinse hair. Staff around property are NOT very nice. Won't be returning and will post everywhere how rude the staff is and about the 2 water issues. Place is way too expensive to deal with that. "

"Fantastic experience at this location. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel general areas were clean. The breakfast area was clean an easily accessible. Perfect location with Riverwalk access and short walkable distance to everything else. Only parking available was valet. Tip: When checking in stay on Commerce Street and your making a left into the valet area and not on St marys."

"Reservation had trouble being located. Room was clean but had a musty smell in it. Had to spray it down. The sink kept clogging. The hot water was hit or miss, mostly miss. The hot tub was broken and pretty dirty. The shuttle bus was broken, but was told it was working by one person, then the morning of my departure to the Airport i was told it was broken. The breakfast was good, actually the only good thing really this hotel had going for it was the decent breakfast. I would not go back though due to the issues it is having."

"Staff was super friendly and very professional. We were given a larger room with a private balcony after the person at the front desk learned we were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Room had a refrigerator but no Microwave, so something to keep in mind when bringing leftovers to the room for later."

"Bathroom and tub were dingy, tub had paint flecking off. Bugs on the blinds, large tree roaches. Electricity went out mid-night, and never came back on in the whole building, had to prepare for the day by flashlight/shower in the dark. Morning staff was helpful, offered free orange and apple juice to the kids for the inconvenience."

"The TV in the room did not work. they were not able to fix it"

"We were disappointed in the front desk staff and the valet staff. After our first night (at 9:00 am) we asked for fresh towels (spilled coffee) and another roll of toilet paper (only provided 1 and we were already out). They said it would be brought to us shortly. We left and came back about 2:00 pm. No towels...no toilet paper. Called front desk and they brought it. Later that day we were trying to rest in our room but they started sawing with a very loud saw next door to us. I know sometimes maintenance must be done but I guess it was just poor timing. When we were checking out I requested my car. Even got a message back saying the staff was hurrying to get it. We went outside and sate on the bench and waited. Valet staff never came over to see if we need assistance...they did not say anything to us at all. Finally after 20 minutes my husband walked over and asked about our car...they stated they did not know we needed it even thought we got the automated message that they were already getting it. Mind you it was not busy it was 7:00 am. They brought the car around and we left. We decided then that was our last stay at the Menger."
