![The shimmering, jewel hued waters of the aptly named Emerald Bay was a sight for sore eyes. By far the best view in Lake Tahoe! My only regret was not packing my swimsuit.. or a decent pair of walking shoes to hike down to Vikingsholm.

The amenities were great! We even had a fridge in the room which I wasn’t expecting but no microwave. Also the down side is they put a $200 hold when you check in which I wasn’t aware of ahead of time I knew about the parking fees and resort fee at the property but you get $100 back when you check ...

Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe
Room was great and clean. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is amazing, close to the Heavenly village and gondola. Perfect.

Marriott's Timber Lodge
Great room, clean, great staff. Wonderful location with gondola nearby. Great perks like hot cookies in the lobby! The pools and jacuzzis were nice and warm. Nice to stay right there in the village.

Stardust Lodge
The proximity to the gondola is excellent, literally across the street. This is a lodge, not a hotel but most of the properties in Tahoe are lodges/inns.
