"The bathroom was so freshly sanitized I could smell the cleaning chemicals, I love a clean bathroom! But the parking lot was almost always full, needs more room for guests. I also couldnt locate the free breakfast, it was unclear where it was served. "

"My whole stay was great, honestly. I was able to check in early before I joined the hotel rewards, that was huge. The room was super clean. The breakfast selection was huge and fully stocked. The only complaint I have about the whole experience was about the pool. There were a handful of kids 8-13 years old in the pool screaming for the better part of 5 hours. It was really overwhelming. And since the pool is much smaller than expected, there wasn't really a way to enjoy that space with the unsupervised kids. "

"Hotel was old but clean, beds were advertised as Queen but were Full so too small. The pool and hot tub were closed without notice. Breakfast was fine but nothing special. Staff was nice. Budget hotel with no amenities in a convenient location."

"I had a wonderful stay at Portland Harbor Hotel and would absolutely recommend it! The location is perfect—right in the heart of the Old Port, making it easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, always going out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a cozy yet upscale feel. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor courtyard—it’s such a relaxing spot to unwind after a day exploring Portland. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Maine!"
