"The property was large, in an excellent location to beach and other local businesses. There are some things worth mentioning. PROS Property was a short walk to beach, actually across the street. The unit had a dishwasher, washing machine/dryer combo in unit. Beach chairs, beach towels and umbrella was provided. Designated FREE parking spot. Pools were clean and quiet. Full kitchen with utensils provided. AIR CONDITIONER in unit. Lanai/balcony or patio. Outside Property was clean and quiet, exception was resident rooster. CONS Glitch at sign in, but was resolved quickly. There are bugs on Property, it's an island. Some dead bugs in unit, I simply sprayed to make sure nothing came home with us. Photos DO NOT accurately depict condition of unit. Although clean, unit is in need of updating such as: new coat of paint, clean curtains, new clean decor, some minor cosmetic repairs, basically unit looks worn & tired. NOT A 5 star Property, more like 3 Star. In the end, be realistic, most properties on island offer no free parking. For the affordable price of this property, it was ok. Think of motel quality. In the end, the PROS out-wayed the CONS."

"Unfortunately, our experience at the hotel was disappointing. The breakfast was very poor, both in quality and service, and the staff at breakfast did not feel welcoming or attentive. In addition, the man at the front desk was not friendly or helpful. In my opinion, this hotel is only suitable if you plan to spend most of your time outside exploring and just need a place to sleep. It’s not the kind of hotel I would recommend for a relaxing vacation where you want to stay at the property and enjoy the facilities throughout the day."

"We stayed at Grand Wailea in May 2026. Here's what we thought about it: Good: ---The grounds are gorgeous ---The pool was clever and lots of fun ---The staff was helpful Bad: ---Greed, greed, greed I've never been to a place that seemed so intent on extracting my last dollar from me so ardently. Here are some examples: ---Two pizzas from the take-out restaurant: $70 ---Required valet parking: $75 per day ---Renting a cabana for the day: starting at $650 ---Italian restaurant: hard to walk out without spending $100 There are others, but you get the point. This leaves aside things like the mandatory resort fee. Other reviewers have commented on the inability to get a spot by the pool. We came in low season, and we still didn't bother to try to find a place till 2PM. A big part of the problem is the space taken up by those ludicrously-price cabanas. If those vanished, I'm guessing they could add 25% to the number of pool chairs available. Bottom line: the place is gorgeous (though our room was pretty old and minimally furnished), and the pool is great fun. But unless you are willing to part with lots of money without worrying about it, don't come here. And I'm guessing high season crowding must be insane."

"I was not pleased with the way they handled our room check in . We got there at 3 then we was told our room was not ready , she tried to offer a different room which cost less then when I bought it up she tried to offer me 130. 00 we was way off from what I paid for my original room . Then we had to wait almost 5 hrs to check into our room . By that time we was sleepy and tired. Then we went to the infinity pool on the resort which was 250 pp and it was to include a massage . Well when we got there the massage lady left . Now I don’t want to make it seem if colored mattered but they definitely made us feel like it did being we was the only black people on the resort . So overall would I go back no "

"Very modern looking room and spacious. Ocean across the street to watch sunset while having happy hour cocktails and appetizers at the restaurant. Would stay again!"
