"Location was good and convenient to visit mall of America. Unexpected parking charge per day, issue with toilet flush, one of key card didn’t work, some of the breakfast items were finished before 9 am though they say until 10 am. "

"Call the hotel and book your rooms. I booked 2 rooms under my name and when we got there was only one under my name and one under my husbands (which I never put his name in there) and the rooms were on 2 different sides of the hotel. The parking & breakfast says it is included but both of those you have to pay for."

"We were very disappointed that the pool was closed for cleaning on a Saturday night. Our family was looking foward to relaxing in and by the pool after a day at the mall but then couldnt. My husband asked for a plunger and we had to wait, we were told they had to go to sister hotel for one. Why wouldnt you have a toilet plunger in a hotel building? Also did not like that the carpet was frayed going to bathroom floor, and the cabinet for bathroom sink was coming off wall. Made it seem like room got trashed before we got there and only fixed little things before our arrival "

"Overall, the hotel was nice, clean, comfortable, and in a great location near the Mall of America and the airport. However, I had a serious issue during my stay that needs to be addressed. At check-in, the front desk agent asked if I wanted to use the card on file to cover charges, and I said yes. There was no clear explanation that I needed to physically present my card later to pay the pet fee. Because of that miscommunication, I thought everything was taken care of. The next day, after leaving for breakfast and shopping, I returned and couldn’t access my room. When I went downstairs, I was told my key had been deactivated because they needed my credit card for the pet fee since I booked through a third party. This was extremely frustrating and inconvenient—especially since all of my belongings, including my child’s medical equipment, were locked inside. Thankfully, it wasn’t an emergency, but it easily could have been. This situation could have been avoided with proper communication. A simple phone call or email would have resolved the issue instead of locking me out of my room. To make matters more frustrating, my pet didn’t even stay on the property—I had him checked into a doggy daycare for the entire trip. While the hotel itself was nice, this experience at the front desk left a negative impression. I hope management improves communication and handles situations like this more appropriately in the future."
