"We didn’t have breakfast so scored a half way mark as we were not able to skip it in this review. It’s an old Campanile hotel now run by a small group so I support them all the way. It’s handy as the brown road signs are still there directing from the motorway. Still looks outdated but it’s being upgraded. Lidl a short walk away for groceries. It’s on a steep hill so watch out if it’s wet or icy. Could do with two pillows but a bath towel came in handy. TV wasn’t much good with reception and selection of channels."

"Room was exceptional - clean, quiet and very roomy. The staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough to assist. Cocktails were tasty too. Would definitely stay again. "

"The hotel looks very nice. Lovely rooms, comfortable pillows and bed. Everything is perfectly clean and well maintained. Staff are so accommodating. Spa is very big and luxurious. Sauna might be the best I have been in. I can’t fault it and I would come back for sure. "

"Breakfast was fresh and hot, fantastic selection. Room was clean and fresh. This is my return visit from a couple of weeks ago. This is my first choice for Cardiff, just a few minutes from the centre. Staff at breakfast so friendly. Well done 🙂🙂"
