"I chose this hotel because I assumed it would be old fashioned and full of character. So it turned out to be. It is very conveniently located. Inside is very comfortable if a little tired in places. The chairs are buttoned leather and the clientele at the time I stayed were in their golden years. Our room was very spacious but oddly shaped. It all added to the charm. Recommended."

"This is a luxurious and grand hotel! We stayed in a large sea-view room on the 4th floor with a balcony. The view of the ocean was absolutely stunning and endless. We spent so much time just relaxing on the balcony—it was incredibly peaceful. Even though the hotel is near the road, the room has excellent soundproofing. Once the doors were closed, we couldn’t hear the traffic noise at all and slept perfectly.The room itself was very spacious, spotless, and comfortable, featuring a massive bed and a cozy sofa for watching TV. The complimentary bathrobes and slippers were a lovely, thoughtful touch. We also loved the bathroom, especially the double vanity sinks and the amazing rainfall showerhead!The buffet breakfast offered a huge variety of choices. We were completely satisfied with our entire stay in Brighton!"

"It was not mentioned in advertising / booking but on arrival I was told there was a £20 charge to use the spa for the duratin of my stay. I declined and used the pool only. Neithe was it clear that parking in the road immediately outside the hotel was Free. whereas parking in the hotel a mere 25 feet away from the road it was £10 per 24 hrs adding £40 to my stay. You shoul adveritse clearly and responsibly."

"Leonardo at Charlotte place was an excellent choice pre cruise. Ideally located. The staff at reception were great at our check in and were extremely helpful with our luggage storage at check out and on departure to the cruise port. This will be our hotel of choice when cruising from Southampton in the future"

"When checking in at the hotel I wa abruptly told that I cannot claim any loyalty points for the hotel stay because I booked through a 3rd party app. So what 3rd party? Airlines and other hotels don’t have issues like this. Ridiculous policy, when booking a hotel consideration of brand and loyalty definitely forms part of the decision. Then this and no point earned…"
