"The staff were absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to make us feel safe in the environment, although when we stayed the weather had other ideas it was really beautiful to see our city in another light , the room was immaculate with a very fresh smell throughout the hotel Will definitely be staying again"

"The bar is the highlight and the room was spacious with a very well designed contemporary feel."

"The food served at the bar was nice, the restaurant was closed during the day! However the service dad left to be desired. The kids menu has a melon starter which is basically three thin slices. That took 30min to come out. The mains had fallowed 30min after that. And by the time deserts had come out my children had given up on desert. Which I guess it’s a blessing. Don’t order food if you are in a rush, the town has far quicker options."

"The hotel could be very lovely. However, it is really rundown and has been let go. The breakfast was the best part, food was hot and fresh. Good variety too. The room i was in was on the 4th floor. Only 1 lift was working for a full hotel. The lift was the width of 1 person and could only fit 2 people in it. It took ages to get the lift. The corridors were very dark and creaky. My room was nextcto a fire door in the corridor so it was constantly banging all night. The room had wood rot in all the windows and could here every little noise outside all night as on a main road. and damp patches on the ceiling. The toilet stopped working and took hours to get it fixed. The bed was very uncomfortable. I had springs in my back all night with very flat pillows too. The water pressure was diabolical just trickling out of the shower and tap. Only cold too. Not enough hot water to fill a,cup came out of the shower. Asked by reception if we would stay again, i felt very uncomfortable saying no as i am a polite person that dont complain but i had to on this point."

"Suprisingly comfy bed, spacious and clean modern bathroom, definitely rate the single rooms for solo travellers, great value for money "

"It was like faulty towers and everyone else said so too so wasn’t just me. Whatever cd go wrong did all the time. I’m exhausted and need a holiday to get over such a nightmare. My mother left a day early. I wd hv done too but was visiting my son."
