The Carpenter Hotel
Friendly staff. Great restaurant, bar, and coffee shop. Cool outdoor spaces. Room was super comfortable--we slept great! Two blocks from walking trails around the lake, within walking distance of the performing arts center, and great proximity to excellent restaurants.

Placemakr Downtown Austin
WiFi didn’t seem to work, parking cost an additional $70 for an overnight stay. Wish that was communicated before hand. But very clean, peaceful, and convenient.

Room was very clean. One of the stools was broken and a light didn’t work. The staff was very kind but didn’t fix it. Overall a good stay
