"Hotel with decent location and a very authentically Japanese onsen experience. Clean semi ryokan experience. The hotel price also includes onsen and some free snacks thereafter. Breakfast is decent with lots of varieties. However there are some restrictions the hotel enforces: e.g. shoes must be off when you enter the hotel to avoid stepping on the tatami mats. The car park is an automated car vending machine so you have to wait for your car to be delivered every time you need to use it. All in all, a good experience if you’re looking for aJapanese onsen experience."

"I enjoyed my stay here. Big room, very comfy bed. also a nice view from the window. Very easy walk to Nara park and right next to Nara station. Plenty of options for food in the area! Nice staff 🙂"

"The air conditioning is on fan mode, as the information on the TV reflected. But that made the room really stuffy. Granted, it's autumn, and weather is cold outside, but having fan mode in an enclosed space is really not conducive for a good rest. We have to keep the window slightly open to regulate the tempreture, which works thankfully. Otherwise, everything else is good!"

"We stayed at this hotel during our trip to Nara and overall had a great experience. Although the room was quite small, it was very clean and well-maintained. The toiletries provided were of high quality and felt great to use. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Even though we had some language barriers, they went out of their way to assist us and used translation apps to communicate clearly. We also booked an in-room massage through the front desk — the masseur was an older gentleman with very strong hands, and the massage was incredibly relaxing. It was also reasonably priced at just 1,000 yen per 10 minutes. Breakfast was simple but tasty and convenient, perfect for travelers heading out early. The location is excellent — just steps from the train station exit, which made getting around super easy. The only downside was a slight smell of smoke in the hallway, likely from some guests smoking in their rooms. But aside from that, the hotel provided great value for money and we would definitely recommend it for a short stay in Nara!"
