"Property is a 10 minute drive away from the heavily touristed area. Perfect for us. The hosts are wonderful and the food is amazing. We got the half board (dinner and breakfast) for four. Amazing.
Cabins are all built using huge logs. A tad rustic but with amazing soaking tub plus modern toilets.
We stayed in summer. No A/c but temps were cool.
Highly recommend and would stay again. "

"Hide (owner) is such a kind and compassionate person. On arrival he gave us fruit and there were many snacks provided in the rooms. Many of the other days he would give us more fruit and then a lovely gift when we left. Every day he was so helpful in removing all the snow from our vehicle before we left for the ski fields. Hide is what makes this hotel such a pleasant place to stay. Thanks Hide, we loved staying with you!"

"Great place to stay for a overnight visit in Lake Toya. 10 mins by car to the downtown area but you will need your own car as it is a bit remote. Nice view of the lake as the hotel is located in the mid-mountain area."

"This hotel needs to be renovated, the onsen is very old and dark. The room is very basic but the view is great. We could see the fireworks from our bedroom window. The staff were very nice. Itโs conveniently located near the bus station. I would splurge to stay at a better hotel that has an onsen that is inviting and that has better accommodations. Feels like an hotel from the 80s! "

"The location is in the opposite side of Toyako Onsen, and there are very few รณptions of public transportation, good if you have a car. The Park in front in the Lake is nice. "

โญโญโญโญโญ Wonderful stay with amazing service and view!
We had an excellent stay at Hotel Hanabi Lake Toya. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room had a beautiful lake view, and we were lucky to experience the fireworks show right from the hotel, which made the evening extra special. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing โ perfect for enjoying the beauty of Lake Toya. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area!"
"The hotel is conveniently located right next to Hell Valley and across from several restaurants, making it ideal for both day trips and overnight stays. My only complaint is the strict check-in policyโcheck-in starts exactly at 2 p.m., with no early check-ins allowed, so plan your visit accordingly.
The hotel offers a variety of amenities, including a gift shop, several restaurants, game and karaoke roomsโgreat options for families or anyone looking for a relaxing staycation. My family and I stayed in a Japanese-style tatami room in the South Wing. While the room was cozy, it felt a bit small and dated. The bedding was warm and comfortable, though I wouldnโt recommend this room type for elderly guests, as getting in and out of the futon might be difficult.
There are several types of onsen baths available, including steam and sauna roomsโhonestly, too many to try them all. I also had my first Kaiseki dinner after visiting the onsen, and it was a wonderful experience.
Overall, I was happy with my stay and would recommend this hotel for a relaxing visit to Hell Valley."

10/10 Excellent
"Great breakfast options. Japanese, western or buffet. I chose western. Premium fresh fruits, pastries, famous Hokkaido milk, different juices and many more. The outdoor onsen is beautiful. Our room with lake view, we could see the lakeside fireworks at night and beautiful sunrise in the morning. The best of all, they let us check in early since our room is ready. And the check out time is not till 12 pm. White gloves staff services through out the hotel. The room is extremely clean. We would definitely will come back. "
"The entire experience surpassed our expectations. The hotel and grounds were beautiful. Our room with the private onsen was definitely worth it. The staff was very attentive. "
