"Room view was poor, roof top had continuous birds, and I couldn't see over it even if I were able to go outside, which I wasn't thanks to the rooftop tenants/birds who were very loud."

"This is a 1950’s- era motel with smaller rooms, tiny bathrooms, and minimal amenities. Rooms were clean. No fitness room, average outdoor pool, no hot tub. There is an adjacent bar/grill and you can get limited food ordered at window next to pool. Coffee is available in the morning by the front desk. Bath towels seemed to be in short supply as we had to request fresh bath towels two days as we did not receive new ones. Staff though are very friendly and they quickly try to handle any requests. Conveniently located near airport, between Sarasota and Bradenton and plenty of free parking. Overall it was Ok but I would not call it a resort. "

"Beautiful older, but beautifully maintained hotel. Staff are exemplary & go out of their way to assist with anything you might need. Two things that would greatly contribute are: a small bar and beach chairs, as beach chairs & umbrellas are costly to rent at the beaches."

"The staff were so wonderful and the hotel was spotless!!! We loved it serves breakfast, has a nice pool, gym and was near restaurants."
