"An absolutely incredible location right on the waterfront. No more than 500 m from just about anything you would want to see or do in town. It was all of 10 m out the back door to get into the beautiful clear blue and warm water. The breakfast setup was quite appealing and very well done. While the price of a night stay is higher than other places in town, the value proposition was well worth it. We had a balcony that overlooked the ocean and we really enjoyed sitting out there and watching the sunset over the azure Blue water"

"We had a lovely stay at Hotel Histrion. Our room was clean and comfortable, and it was great to have a kettle and mini fridge provided. The only downside was that the tea and coffee weren’t restocked during our stay. Breakfast was fine, with enough choice to start the day. A high chair was also always available for our daughter, which was really convenient. Unfortunately, the indoor pool at Hotel Histrion was closed during our stay, but this didn’t matter at all as we had plenty of other options. We were able to use the outdoor swimming area at Bernardin Plaza, as well as the outdoor pool at Apartments Vila Barka, free of charge. We also had the option of using the indoor pool at Grand Hotel Bernardin, but the weather was so lovely that we much preferred being outside! The outdoor swimming area at Bernardin Plaza was fantastic and really made our stay. It was a great alternative to the closed pool and meant we could still enjoy plenty of swimming and relaxing in the sunshine! Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily return!"

"Just a quick stop for us. Room was very small for 3 people. Bathroom tiny. You had to do some acrobatics to get into the shower. Looks very nice from outside and the lobby. Breakfast was OK. There was either one or 2 bus full of seniors and getting to coffee or juice was hard as the space was small and congested. Once the crowed left it was much better. Parking was great. Nearby EV charging station was one of the reason we stayed there."

"Don’t be put off by the lack of reviews - this place is great. Recently done out. Rooms immaculate. Dining hall the same and a great variety of food. Wonderful seafront location with delightful walk to Piran and Portoroz nearby the other way. Staff all really helpful. Great pool just by the sea. Lovely little row of gift shops between the rooms and the pool area. Only thing was you had to pay for sun loungers but I think quite a few places do that in Italy. We were two adults and three children who came for a rest after travelling for a week and it was brilliant."
