The property has a beautifully conceived interior and gardens. Anastasia, our host throughout, was friendly, helpful and superb overall. The property was clean, the breakfast lovely, and all the facilities for self catering were present and fully adequate. All this is combined with a local area and Island that were a joy to visit. Given the opportunity we would certainly return to this property.

Viel Raum für Verbesserungen

Leider war der Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel nicht gut. Aber die positiven Sachen zuerst. Das Gebäude an sich ist sehr schön und die zentrale Lage in Sliema ist perfekt um die Insel zu erkunden. Es gibt Gastronomie und kleine Lebensmittelläden in der nahen Umgebung. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer im Erdgeschoss mit Fenstern zur Straße (Zimmer England - London). Leider ist der Straßenlärm so stark, das an schlafen kaum zu denken war. Die Zimmer können mit einer Kette und einem kleinen Schloss verschlossen werden. Wir haben dann lieber unsere Wertsachen immer dabei gehabt, weil diese Art von Schloss nur optisch Sicherheit vortäuscht. Die Klimaanlage ist so montiert, das das Kondenswasser direkt aufs Kopfkissen tropft. Es gibt einen Schrank, bei uns mit 3 Bügeln, sonst keine Ablagemöglichkeit. Wir haben dann quasi aus dem Rucksack gelebt, was damit belohnt wurde, das Wasser von der Decke auf unsere Sachen tropfte. Die Zimmer werden alle 3 Tage gereinigt, das wurde in unserem Fall dann noch vergessen. Auf Nachfrage gab es wenigstens frische Handtücher. Das Frühstück ist ok, allerdings lässt die Hygiene zu wünschen übrig. Die Gäste sollen das Geschirr selber spülen oder in die Spülmaschine räumen, was dazu führt das nicht alles sauber ist. Die Milchprodukte und Wurstwaren stehen während der kompletten Frühstückszeit ungekühlt, offen rum, zur Freude der zahlreichen Fliegen. Die Betreiber sind ein junges Paar und der Aufgabe augenscheinlich nicht gewachsen. Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht.

Without doubt it was a great stay. I was very well attended and the owners were always available to help in what was needed. The bathroom was always clean, the kitchen was always clean and had what it took to make some food. My room was exactly like the one in the photo and I found it an excellent value for money, plus the couple being very friendly. Thanks Ola and Matt for these days there with you.
