Jacuzzi was cold, the sauna wasn’t hot, the inside pool was dirty and the gym was almost completely broken down. The staff tried to get rid of you as fast as possible

I arrived early 9:30 am went to front desk to check-in they took my passport said my room wasn’t ready was told to come back after 2 i came back around 6:45 to find out they had given my room away. They said I should’ve checked in at 2 but that made no sense as i was there early and room was fully paid in advance So they put me in the wheelchair accessible room but the door card reader wouldn’t work 4 trips to front desk and about 1 hour later it started working

Excellent service, clean well isolated room. Breakfast with more than enough variety. Attentive crew and service. The tour organizer at reception was the cherry on top, it made our life easier for plans to visit and enjoy Malta. The pool on roof top too small but with the sea and beaches at proximity, who needs a pool? All in all, top rate for Bayview Hotel.

Good location and loads of bars / eating places. Boat trips and ferry are walkable and shops too. Sliema 2 mins away and st. Julian’s isn’t far. Lots of buses outside and the view from pool is amazing. Breakfast was really nice and always hot and fresh. Lots of choice with coffee fruit etc. staff are so friendly and pleasant. Sea view room was perfect view.

We had a family room which was far too small for 4 of us. There was nowhere to store clothes or toiletries. Shower flooded the bathroom floor every time it was used. The balcony was a very small enclosed by four walls so no sun or fresh air really and it was constantly dirty from rooms above dropping ash and even a glass. The thing that appealed about the hotel was the use of the aqua lido across the road. You have to book a specific room type for this which wasn’t made clear on the website.

A very good hotel

Very good hotel in a central area for transport and travel around the island. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful in all aspects of our stay. I would certainly recommend this to anyone and will plan to stay here again. The general manager took time to chat with guests at breakfast to ensure any issues could be resolved.

Good location to travel to multiple areas on the island. Good bars and restaurants in the hotel and walkable distance. Didn't like to view from standard room and lots of construction surrounding. A stag party ruined last couple of days

Lovely staff

Staff were lovely & very helpful. Breakfast was ok with a reasonable choice of items. However, we were offered free dinner one night as there was a problem with our room when we arrived & I can only say that I’m glad we weren’t paying for it, the food was very poor. The sea view rooms have a great view but very noisy with the busy road & restaurants below. Good location for transport links.

Vorab, das Hotel hat uns in eins deren Kette zugehöriges „NOVOTEL by St“ geschickt als wir ankamen und uns dieses als „Upgrade“ verkauft. Das Hotel war auch Modern aber es gab durchgehend Baulärm oder wenn die AC nicht an war, ging die ganze Nacht das Fahrstuhl Geklingel. Es war immer wieder super laut. Das Reinigungs-Personal vergaß immer wieder richtig sauber zu machen oder einfache Dinge wie neue Handtücher dazulassen wenn alte mitgenommen worden sind. Auch wurden oft Dinge garnicht erst nachgefüllt oder gemacht wie zb Toilettenpapier neu. Das Frühstück war auch eher Mittelmäßig. Leider mussten wir an 5 von 8 Tagen in Folge Probleme im Hotelzimmer mitteilen und man hatte nicht das Gefühl das man uns wirklich was gutes tun wollte, da man uns auch nie entgegenkam nach etwaigen Vorfällen…

L'hébergement est bien situé, près du port, beaucoup d'animation. Par contre, la piscine dans l'annonce n'est pas la même. En effet, celle qui apparait est une piscine annexe à l'hôtel et payante !! Donc publicité un peu mensongère. De plus, les chambres ne sont pas vraiment insonorisées, tout ce qui se passe dans le couloir (les portes qui se ferment, les clients qui parlent...) on entend tout.

Fantastic stay for access to everything Malta has to offer. Public transport & taxis really easy to Valetta & St Julian’s. Room was slightly tired and dated, however very clean and comfortable, with fresh towels & linen provided every day. Breakfast was ok, quite repetitive but pleasant and expected for the price. Reception staff, waiting staff at breakfast & cleaning staff all very friendly and helpful. Well worth paying extra for the beach club access as the hotel pool isn’t very big and there isn’t much space with only a few sunbeds.

Can’t recommend.

Sad to say apart from the very central location with lots of restaurants and shops on your footstep, the breakfast being good and its staff, plus the pool area on the roof, the hotel is quite run down, the rooms needing plenty of TLC, the reception staff unprofessional, it’s just not worth the money - really overpriced.
