It was in good shape (though could use some pillows) and in a nice location, though be warned it is on a very large hill, with 130 steps that you need to climb whenever you return. The main downside was that the communication was lacking and the check in information was simply wrong. "We had the loveliest time at Park Villa. The room was lovely and incredibly clean. Breakfast and evening meals were delicious with good variety (we loved the seasonal options and vegetarians are well catered for). Staff were incredible.... amazingly helpful and accomodating. The hotel is a wee way from Wupperal section but there is a regular bus service within easy walking distance plus taxi's. From there, regular trains run to Dusseldorf, Cologne and Essen. A real find! "
