"I love the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. It is also very affordable for what it has. I wish there were an outdoor pool. Would be nice if it were more like a resort. But I guess that's why it is so affordable. I was looking forward to the cold-plunge but both were out of service. Sauna and hot tubs were the only amenities I used. Rooms are pretty bland but I've stayed in a room that had a hot tub on the balcony last time and really enjoyed that one. Staff were very friendly and enjoyable to discuss the property with. I highly recommend - especially if your on a tight budget."

"Fantastic large comfy bed. It had a jacuzzi tub. Absolutely no decor. Nothing on the walls except a mirror (which was nice) so no character. Convenient location. Ferrell cats were fun...the little beggers. They were beautiful and one was pet friendly."

"I loved this hotel, the decor is so charming and makes you feel like you went back in time. Be sure and take the short walk down to the river and enjoy the views of the Columbia River Gorge. I recommend the Columbia River Gorge Museum in town as well."
