"Had a spontaneous, chill time! This was my first time Glamping experience and it was better than I expected - Friendly and informative staff, comfortable furniture, cool views, and amazing guidance. Driving uphill on the dirt road took a lil longer than driving through the left pavement lane - The staff at Under Canvas suggested we take a left to the pavement road rather than taking a right on the gravel road which was a smoother way to enter and exit the premises! Definitely one of those experiences that you need to experience on your own to know exactly how amazing this Glamping journey can be. They have a lobby with a restaurant, complimentary s'mores and fire pits with a mesmerizing view, and little events to enjoy like canvas painting and yoga! You feel safe through-out the stay even though you also feel like you're in the middle of no where surrounded by squirrels, wolves, and bears - that's if you're lucky enough to see them haha. Definitely recommend and definitely will come back again - maybe even just to ride on the golf carts haha."

"This hotel was nicer than I expected. The staff was very friendly upon arrival and check out. The room was very spacious, quiet and had everything we needed, microwave, frig, Keurig coffee maker, towels etc. No safe in the room. The room and property were clean and we felt safe coming in late at night. Plenty of parking available and coffee, food and grocery store nearby. Breakfast was a nice variety of hot and cold items, waffles, fried potatoes, sausage, scrambled eggs, yogurt with granola, muffins, apple juice, coffee and much more and it was really good! It's located off the freeway a bit, about 10-15 minutes to I-5 but didn't seem to take long to get to Cascades Amphitheater, Ilani or In and Out Burger so I would definitely stay here again. It's not overpriced either. I honestly thought I booked a hotel in Woodland but ended up here somehow so it worked out well and we enjoyed our stay."

"Nice stay, Great staff! Suggest renting a single unit, as if you were in one with attached, very noisy. In our unit you could only watch tv in bed, and the headboard was definately not made for that, very uncomfortable set up. Great location for visiting The Dalles, Multnomah Falls (and other falls) and the Bonneville Dam and fish ladders."

"I loved this hotel, the decor is so charming and makes you feel like you went back in time. Be sure and take the short walk down to the river and enjoy the views of the Columbia River Gorge. I recommend the Columbia River Gorge Museum in town as well."
