"Wonderful hotel. We enjoyed the charm of both the hotel and the neighbourhood. If you are looking for a place fully modern, this hotel is not for you. But if you are looking for a charming, quiet hotel with wonderful staff, this is for you. The breakfast was very good. Parking is a plus as well."

"The hotel itself was really nice and well maintained. It looked pretty and the staff was friendly. My issue was my room smelled really bad. Like a mixture of unpleasant body odor and cigarettes. Unfortunately there were no available rooms to switch to. The staff tried to help and provided a spray but it didn’t seem to work. For 3 days the unpleasant odor was there. Sintra was such a beautiful town but everything closes down early and it wasn’t great going back to a smelly room."

"This is not a chain hotel. We started from Norman, Oklahoma. Our trip was full of delayed flights, rebooking, lost luggage (still haven’t been able to locate with Iberia Airlines) just about everything that could go wrong went wrong. I contacted Chalet Saudida to let them know we were still coming just a lot later not realizing the office closed at 10:00 pm. Thank goodness Cynthia was working that day. We arrived about 10:45pm but Cynthia was still there. She stayed until after 11:00pm to make sure we knew where to park, how to get in if we went out, where our rooms were, she was the best thing that happened to us in a 72 hour time frame. What an asset Cynthia is to the property and a great representative for the Chalet Saudida. Thank you Cynitha you get a 10 star plus rating"

"Hotel was upscale with very nice terrace rooms. They offered good dinning choices for breakfast lunch and dinner if you chose to stay on. The are right in the centre of the old town which offers many dinning options on all budgets. The hotel is hard to find as the old town is situated behind barriers which requires a QR code to enter which is supplied by the hotel an hour prior to arrival. But if you blink near the entrance it’s another 20 minute drive to go around again."

"Although we arrived a little late the staff was more than willing to help us. The location is right in the middle of everything. You can walk to restaurants and right by the trails (it's still quite a walk) to the National Palace and Moorish Castle. Our room opened up to the street so there was quite a bit of street noise, but I didn't mind."
